Why Is It Freezing In Here?

The cold chain. No, we are not talking about the Night King’s jewellery.

Second Nature has no added preservatives or heat. None. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Niet. Any other languages as well. Which means there are only two guards a bottle has – pressure and temperature.

Pressure we have talked about when we wrote about HPP. But what about temperature. Simple – at home, we keep our fruits and veggies in the fridge. We know that is what retains their freshness. When we make juice, the same applies. Everything must be chilled, or the juice spoils.

At Second Nature, we are trying to make this a habit. Hence, we are building a delivery chain – ourselves, with the correct partners, to ensure that your juice is delivered to you in perfect temperature conditions. Second Nature is best stored between 2 and 8 °C. Which is what we ensure happens.

Hence, our hearts are really warm. But our juices – not quite.
